A song for the weekend: Yes its been a while

I realize that I have been ignoring my blogging duties recently and for that I apologize.  But my ‘Literary Drought’, yes I’m calling it that, not without reason. But we will get into that some other time. As for now though, its Saturday, and that can only mean one thing. It’s time for my ‘Song for the weekend’. I have decided to keep it Irish this week, not in purpose its just the way it worked out. The first song I have for you is Aslan’s new single ‘Too Late for hallelujah’. It is taken from their new album ‘Nudie Books and Frenchies’ and seems set to be their most successful record yet. Nothing left to say but have a listen for yourself and be sure to let me know what you think.

The second, and last song, I have for you this weekend is the debut single from an Irish pop band called ‘This Club‘. The song is called ‘I Won’t Worry‘ and is a catchy, upbeat feel good song. Its doesn’t fit the usual mold of songs that I post on my blog but I have an ulterior motive. I am currently in the process of reviewing This Club’s new album for State.ie. So I thought I would put them up here, see what ye thought and steal your opinions!! NA, I would never do something like that. But I would be nice to hear your opinions all the same.

  1. Love the Aslan track, great music for this weekend. They really do get better with age. This Club’s song is cool and one for the summer if it ever gets here. Glad the literary drought is coming to an end, look forward to your next post.
